Almira Dulce Garcia-Icaro, DMD, MScD Periodontics
Dr. Almira received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Centro Escolar University, Manila, Philippines. During her undergraduate years, she has been a consistent Dean’s Lister and an active student leader, thus, she was awarded the Best Clinician in Endodontics-Periodontics of her batch and a Silver Medal in Leadership. She landed 9th place in the National Dentistry Licensure Examination of the same year.
She underwent various trainings from assisting top-caliber dentists in Singapore, and her interest in Periodontics was ignited. To further her knowledge in the pursuit of managing periodontal conditions, she enrolled for her Post Graduate Degree and completed her Masters of Science in Dentistry Specializing in Periodontics from Centro Escolar University, Manila, Philippines as well. She presented her Post-graduate Research on Genetic Polymorphism, Pre-Term and Low Birth Weight infants and Periodontitis in the Philippines and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It was also accepted in American Academy of Periodontology in Chicago, Illinois, USA. Very recently, she has also presented her research as the only Filipino Delegate in Penn Dental Medicine University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, USA.
Presently, she is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Periodontics in CEU Manila and an Adjunct Assistant Professor in Universidad De Zamboanga. She is also a Visiting Specialist in various dental practices in Metro Manila. Occasionally, she presents lectures as a Guest Speaker in different seminars in the country to spread awareness about Periodontal Disease.
She is continuously helping patients achieve a healthier smile and lifestyle through holistic management of oral and systemic diseases.

Mikee B. Morsiquillo, DMD
Dr. Mikee is a board-certified dentist with a strong commitment and specialized focus to the fields of periodontics and oral surgery. She received her degree in dental medicine from the University of the East Manila. She is continuously learning and making a conscious effort to improve her craft as a dentist by attending various seminars and pursuing advanced studies and trainings that could benefit her patients.
Dr. Mikee believes that oral health is fundamental to overall well-being and strives hard to reduce the stigma surrounding oral health care. Her philosophy as a doctor and in her practice of dentistry emphasizes an ethical approach to patient care and being thorough with patient education. She builds trusting relationships with her patients, focusing on helping them make informed decisions through empathy and a shared commitment to achieve effective and unique treatment plans.
When not devoting time to patient care, Dr. Mikee spends her time on her passion projects—The Starry Pages, a blog where she writes about the mundanity of life, books she reads and collections of things that bring her joy, and a separate space for her journaling pursuits and experimental art to inspire people in the art of self-care and expression. She also finds so much joy in being known as a lover of learning across diverse areas—science, literature, art, music, and fashion.
She is also passionate about community-based interventions and volunteers regularly at various provinces in the Philippines to provide oral health education and awareness. As a strong advocate for animal welfare, she dedicates herself to volunteer work and initiatives that aim to cultivate a society that treats animals with the respect and dignity they deserve.
