Dr. Almira received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Centro Escolar University, Manila, Philippines. During her undergraduate years, she has been a consistent Dean’s Lister and an active student leader, thus, she was awarded the Best Clinician in Endodontics-Periodontics of her batch and a Silver Medal in Leadership.  She landed 9th place in the National Dentistry Licensure Examination of the same year. 

She underwent various trainings from assisting top-caliber dentists in Singapore, and her interest in Periodontics was ignited. To further her knowledge in the pursuit of managing periodontal conditions, she enrolled for her Post Graduate Degree and completed her Masters of Science in Dentistry Specializing in Periodontics from Centro Escolar University, Manila, Philippines as well. She presented her Post-graduate Research on Genetic Polymorphism, Pre-Term and Low Birth Weight infants and Periodontitis in the Philippines and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.  It was also accepted in American Academy of Periodontology in Chicago, Illinois, USA.  Very recently, she has also presented her research as the only Filipino Delegate in Penn Dental Medicine University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, USA. 

Presently, she is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Periodontics in CEU Manila and an Adjunct Assistant Professor in Universidad De Zamboanga.  She is also a Visiting Specialist in various dental practices in Metro Manila. Occasionally, she presents lectures as a Guest Speaker in different seminars in the country  to spread awareness about Periodontal Disease. 

She is continuously helping patients achieve a healthier smile and lifestyle through holistic management of oral and systemic diseases.
